Customer Service Nightmare: Wrong Glasses and No One to Call 📞🚫


I'm sharing this as a warning about my family's terrible online shopping experience. We bought glasses for our 12-year-old, but he couldn't see with them. A trip to the doctor confirmed the pupil distance (PD) was wrong because the site just assumed an adult's value. My direct feeling and conclusion from this experience is that Please know you will never be able to reach a human at glassesusa and have a real phone conversation if you call them, so plan on frustration if your glasses are not correct. Email interactions are too slow, causing the process to drag on. This is why I felt compelled to engage with their customer service, hoping to resolve the issue for my son.


Customer: I've been emailing for days with no real progress. You sent glasses with the wrong PD for my son, and he can't see. The doctor confirmed your measurement was incorrect.

CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the error with your son's glasses and for the frustratingly slow communication. That is not the experience we want for our customers. Can I have your order number to fix this for you immediately?

Customer: It's order 582-194. Why is there no one to talk to on the phone? My son needs to be able to see. We followed all the steps on your site, but you used a default PD value.

CS Rep: Thank you. I see the order and the previous emails. I sincerely apologize for the mistake and the difficulty you've had reaching us. I am processing a free replacement with corrected lenses for you right now. We will need you to send the original pair back.

Customer: So my son will have no glasses while we wait for you to receive the return and then make a new pair? That seems like a long time to wait for your mistake.

CS Rep: I completely understand your concern. Our policy does require the return first, but I will personally monitor the tracking and expedite the production of your replacement pair the moment the return is registered as shipped.


The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
